The tickets then go on sale a few weeks later, and it's often a mad scramble to get them when they are released – to stand the best chance, you'll need to be up and at your computer before the tickets are released, which tends to be around 9am.
Security checks are carried out on arrival, and only the specified ticket holder will be admitted to the Festival.

The official Glastonbury website is the only place you can buy valid tickets, and registering is a must as this is how organisers combat touting. There's no word on line-up for Glastonbury 2020 yet, and we won't know for some time.
